Have you ever wondered how is it that the “holiday season” ends at the end of the year? This season is a perfect bookend to all that has happened in the last 12 months, but by coincidence? Who knows. I like to believe everything happens for a reason. The family celebrations, nights out with friends and coworkers, reunions with those who live far apart. Each year towards the end of December we get a magical few weeks of sparkle and shine (with a side of Chicago in a blizzard) to take in all that has happened, and make wishes for the future. These few weeks are a time to reflect, to celebrate and to truly marvel in all the beauty that surrounds us. With that, I’d like to share some of my most memorable moments this year…
I became an auntie to 5 new babies. My friends have been busy.
2 sets of friends got engaged.
I designed and built my dream bathroom.
I was almost on a reality TV show, twice! (More to come on this.)
MG Home Chicago found or sold homes for 41 families
I took a leap of faith and started working on a dream I’ve had for 15 years.
