This week’s blog comes from the sunshine and ocean breeze of Miami. As I write this, I am 40,000 feet in the air flying to South Beach for a 40 hour trip – FOR YOU! I know, I know, that sounds questionable. I’ll explain.
Over the last few years, I’ve realized my network (you all) have expanded beyond the suburbs and city of Chicago. You are traveling, re-locating, expanding where you work, where you vacation, and where you escape the bustle of your day to day. As you expand, I have committed to expanding with you. You and I will always call Chicago home, in some capacity, but the MG Home “one-stop-shop” philosophy is to always help you find and create home – regardless of the city, state or country.
With @properties purchase of Christie’s International Real Estate, the bandwidth of services grew tremendously over the last year. What I can provide you has skyrocketed, and a spark reignited within the team. I’ve quickly turned inward and got to work learning, building, and sourcing. These next few days in Miami are about just that. To date I have helped client’s connect with trusted realtors in Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Pennsylvania, California (this is me now too!), Florida, England, and Italy! All of these transactions have come with my expertise on housing, creating home and overall real estate trends while my local network of realtors have been onsite to help client’s find and close on the properties they were after. This week, Christie’s International Real Estate agents from all over the world are getting together for training and networking so that when you decide you’d like a condo on the slopes in Colorado, or an investment property in Arizona – I’ve got you. A friend from high school (suburbs of Chicago) has been living in LA for the last few years. As her business grows, she found herself spending more and more time in London. She attempted to secure an apartment on her own without much luck. A quick Instagram DM led me to make a pivotal introduction to our London based real estate partners at Carter Jonas | Christie’s International RE. I already had a relationship built with an onsite top agent, Suzie. After a quick email introduction, a few weeks of follow ups, checking in on progress, and all brokers keeping their foot on the petal in a challenging market - my high school friend is now the proud tenant of a stunning, fully furnished, luxury rental in the center of South Kensington, London. (Less than two miles to Kensington Palace!)
